Texans linebackers wear 'Dodgeball' outfits to Broncos game - Chron

The Texans' inside linebackers continued their tradition of wearing costumes to home games Sunday, arriving to NRG Stadium dressed as characters from the movie "Dodgeball."

This week's outfits were perfect, because even the injured Dylan Cole got in on the act.

Zach Cunningham, Benardrick McKinney, Peter Kalambayi and Tyrell Adams dressed as members of the dodgeball team Average Joe's, and Cole, who is out for the season with a torn ACL, was able to play the role of Patches O'Houlihan, who was the wheelchair-bound coach of the Average Joe's.

The group has worn a different outfit for each home game this season, and McKinney has documented them on Instagram. Cunningham, an anime fan, is the brains behind the operation, providing the outfits for his teammates.

For the record, the Texans have lost just one game when the linebackers dressed up and the defense couldn't be blamed for that 16-10 defeat against the Panthers in September. The linebackers wore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles outfits before that loss.

Browse through the photos at the top of the page for a look at all the different costumes the Texans inside linebackers have worn before games this season.
